Ok, so I lied. But I had this really great idea to do a "painting" of a younger Lady Anastasia Romaine, just slightly post Third War in Warcraft. As you can see, she had much shorter and much darker hair. She also still wore the crest of Lordaeron, her home country, on her armour. Her trademark pale silver eyes still stared deep into a person's soul back then, though. Lady Stasia was the daughter of a minor noble family in Lordaeron, living near what is now known as The Plaguewood. Just after the Scourge Plague broke out, she and her family were scattered to the winds, with she, her paladin father and warrior mother coming to the defense of their country, while her brother and sisters were sent south to Stormwind, her brother Dmitrii stopping in Ironforge with the dwarves, her sisters Natallya and Alexeii going to Stormwind, and Alexeii's twin sister, Katerinka, in Dalaran, assisting in the magocratic city-state's defense against the Scourge and Burning Legion. Lady Stasia was at one point separated from her parents after her mother Anyastasia was slain in battle and later raised as a death knight, and her father Nicholai sent his young daughter west across the ocean to Kalimdor with Lady Jaina Proudmoore. This portrait was recovered from the Romaine family's burnt-out home. Lady Stasia herself returned home later to find her father had come to Stormwind after Lordaeron fell to the Scourge.
